Influence of WHSV on light gas oil cracking performance over FCC catalysts with different Y zeolites

2009
The influence of weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) on light gas oil catalytic cracking performance over REUSY,REHY and REY zeolite catalysts were studied on MAT unit by adjusting feed oil injection rate. The results showed that the difference in conversion increased with WHSV increasing, and the conversion over REY catalyst with lower zeolite content declined more slowly than that of REUSY catalyst. The possible reason was that the amount of micropore on low zeolite REY catalyst was lower than that of REUSY catalyst. Therefore, its cracking ability was influenced more slightly by internal diffusion under higher WHSV and shorter contact time. The apparent conversion of REY catalyst was higher.
