Mould coatings specialist reaffirms commitment to glass industry

At Glassman Europe 2009, Castolin Eutectic demonstrated its investment in the glass industry with a new range of low-temperature powders. The supplier's recent acquisition of vacuum fusion specialist Provac was the culmination of several years' collaboration in developing Protec - a technology designed to improve wear resistance in moulds and blanks. Helen Bird spoke to Chris McDermott, the company's Global Industry Manager for Glass, about its achievements and aims.
