Repairing and reinforcing method for existing slab

1987
PURPOSE: To repair and reinforce the existing slab without giving the bad action to the other part with easy work by placing a PC steel material in slit holes formed from both opposite beam edge parts of an upper surface of the existing slab to a lower surface of the slab, and fixing and tensing both ends of the PC steel material. CONSTITUTION: Slit holes 3... are formed from beam edges 2A of a span central part of beams 2... of four side of an existing slab 1 toward a central lower surface of the slab 1. The slab 1 on the extension of the slit holes 3... is installed to a position of an upper end stripe 5 of the beam 2. Then an unbond PC steel material 4 is sent from an upper surface of the beam 2... to a lower surface of the slab 1 through the slit 3..., then drawn up to the upper surface of the slab through the opposite slit hole 3 to be mounted on an upper surface of the other beam 2.... The tension fittings 7 are mounted on both ends of the PC steel material 4, and fixed to building lower grooves 6 and the like to tense the PC steel material 4. Then the concrete is deposited on the desired areas such as the installation areas and the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
