Applications Of Diode Laser In Pediatric Dentistry : 2 Case Reports

ABSTRACT : Lasers were introduced in Pediatric Dentistry to replace the conventional drill and prick methods and to make the dental visits a less traumatic experience for the child patient. Over the years it has been seen that Lasers are well accepted by child patients due to their various advantages such as little to no use of local anesthesia prior to using lasers, less per-operative bleeding, easy hemostasis, reduced operator chair time etc. The current case reports describe the use of Diode Laser in treating Mucocele and in exposing unerupted permanent maxillary Central incisor thereby guiding it into the oral cavity in two child patients successfully
