Selective Laser Sintering of Ag Conductive Inks with a Real-Time Non-uniform Rational Basis Spline Curve Interpolator

2018
A method is proposed for the fabrication of Ag patterns on plastic substrates by printing Ag conductive inks, followed by selective laser sintering (SLS). The printing and sintering processes were realized by a motion control system with a real-time non-uniform rational basis spline (NURBS) curve interpolator. The proposed approach achieves a constant laser scanning speed along the curve path. Ag patterns fabricated by a NURBS curve interpolator and compared to those produced using a linear interpolator.
