Optical carrier-to-sideband ratio self-adapting optical fiber wireless single-sideband modulation system

2012
An optical carrier-to-sideband ratio self-adapting optical fiber wireless single-sideband modulation system relates to the technical fields of optical fiber communication, long-period optical fiber grating and microwave photon. The optical carrier-to-sideband ratio self-adapting optical fiber wireless single-sideband modulation system comprises a continuous wave laser (1), a double-electrode Mach Zehnder modulator (2), a sine wave local oscillator (3), a 90-DEG power divider (4), an offset voltage stabilization source (5), a dynamic polarization controller (6), a first long period optical fiber grating (81), a second long period optical fiber grating (82), a polarization beam combiner(9), a Y splitter (10), an optical fiber (11), a first optical detector (121), an optical interleaver (13), a second optical detector (122), a third optical detector (123) and a current comparator (14) which are sequentially connected with one another. Due to the adoption of the system, the optical carrier-to-sideband ratio of a single-sideband modulation signal can self adapt to the variation of systematic parameters and can be always maintained at 0dB, and the systematic performance can be maintained at an optimum state.
