Polarization-Sensitive Optical Coherence Tomography for Tissue Imaging

2021
Polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography (PS-OCT) is a high-resolution, real-time, and 3D imaging technique for acquiring morphological and functional information of tissues. The multiple contrasts from PS-OCT can provide comprehensive information about tissue such as layered tissue structure, tissue birefringence, and depolarization. The real-time imaging capability enables PS-OCT as a powerful tool for in vivo characterization of tissue properties and diseases.
