The invention belongs to the preparation field of quantum dots, and relates to an M:ZnSe/ZnSe/Zns core-shell structure quantum dot preparation method. The method comprises the following steps: thermally synthesizing metal ion doped an M:ZnSe quantum dot by use of a solvent through a microwave auxiliary heating device under the inert atmosphere, cooling the reaction temperature to room temperature, and injecting a zinc source and an organic surface ligand solution into the reaction solution, forming a ZnSe shell layer on the outer layer of the M:ZnSe quantum dot, adjusting the microwave reaction temperature, injecting a sodium sulfide solution to form the quantum dot of an M:ZnSe/ZnSe/Zns core-shell structure; washing and centrifuging to obtain quantum dot powder, and dispersing the quantum dots to the solvent composed of isopropanol, ethanol, glycol and deionized water so as to form the quantum dot ink. The method disclosed by the invention is accurate in temperature control, uniform in quantum dot size, less in quantum dot surface defect and high in production efficiency, and three-layer core-shell structure quantum dot has a higher fluorescence quantum yield.
