Políticas habitacionais em Codó-MA: o programa Minha Casa Minha Vida (2009-2019)

ABSTRACT The present work has as general objective to characterize the process of joint implementation of the program Minha Casa Minha Vida of track 1 in Codo. From which it was possible to achieve the following specific objectives: address the history of the development of housing programs in Codo; undertake a synthesis of the historical context of housing policy development at national and state levels. The methodological construction of the work started from two stages: bibliographic research, which used theorists such as: Nabel Georges Bonduki, Sergio de Azevedo, Adauto Lucio Cardoso and Paulo Eduardo Silva de Vasconcelos who deal with the development of housing policies; and data collection procedures and field research, which sought to collect statistical data on housing program investment values and number of housing units produced by each program via the Access to Information Act. It is possible to obtain oral reports from the residents of the areas where housing programs were developed in Codo and to obtain current photographic records of the dwellings built through these programs. It was concluded that the maintenance of the development of housing policies is crucial, however, it is also necessary to be accompanied by actions aimed at improving the quality of income and infrastructure, thus ensuring not only a house, but a decent housing.
