ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO APÓS DIAGNÓSTICO DE SÍFILIS NO PRÉ-NATAL DE BAIXO RISCO: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

To understand the role of nurses in the care of pregnant women diagnosed with syphilis during low-risk prenatal care. Method: This was a descriptive bibliographical study with a qualitative approach, a bibliographic survey was carried out in the databases SciELO, BDENF, PubMed and MEDLINE, using the Boolean operator AND, included in the present research articles between the years 2014 to 2018, addressing the issue of the care of nurses with pregnant women diagnosed with syphilis in primary care, online, free of charge and in the Portuguese and English languages, and excluding articles that did not contemplate the theme. Results: Shows that the professionals in their majority have the ideal preparation for the care of the pregnant woman before a positive result for syphilis, but they agree that there are still professionals lacking knowledge and that the constant search for knowledge is the path to better conduct and consequently improved care for pregnant women. Conclusion: It is observed that nurses have a fundamental role in combating syphilis mainly, in the prenatal care, preventing injuries to the baby, as it is also observed, that this professional has shown to be more and more prepared.
