Ink jet head and an ink jet recording apparatus

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head and an inkjet recording apparatus according to an embodiment, capable of shortening the maximum length between a common-electrode connection terminal and each drive element, and improving reliability by stably driving each drive element.SOLUTION: An inkjet head comprises a nozzle plate; a common electrode; and an individual electrode. The nozzle plate has a plurality of nozzles formed thereon. The common electrode is connected to a plurality of actuators and applies a voltage to the actuators. The individual electrode applies a voltage to the individual actuators. The actuators are divided into a plurality of groups, and the individual electrode and the common electrode are provided for every group. A parallel section on which a plurality of individual-electrode connection terminals to be connected to the individual electrode are provided in parallel, is provided in an end portion of the nozzle plate. Common-electrode connection terminals are disposed in an outside portion of the parallel section having the individual-electrode connection terminals and between the individual-electrode connection terminals, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
