Malignant intracerebral tumors
1998
Currently there are many indications for a CT or MR examination. A scan should be performed in the presence of a clinical suspicion not just for advanced disease. In this chapter dedicated to malignant cerebral tumors (primary and secondary), the most characteristic CT and MRI appearances of these neoplasms are summarized. The pretreatment evaluation and role of imaging in follow-up of these malignant tumors are discussed.
