New studies on urate stones

Last year, in the VIII Symposium at Bonn, we discussed the problems concerning the presence of urates in urinary stones (1). Independently, Dosch in Mainz (2) and the authors in Madrid (3) had paid attention to the existence of potassium urate in calculi. In the present study new results are reported.
