Behandlung der Tabakabhängigkeit - Eine Übersicht

The following article gives an overview of the epidemiology of smoking in Germany, the processes of quitting and approaches in the treatment of tobacco dependence. Interventions for smokers without current motivation to quit as well as for smokers with an existing readiness to change are presented. The treatment approaches available in Germany are described and evaluated based on recent scientific results.
