ОСОБЕННОСТИ ПЕРЕВОДА ФРАЗЕОЛОГИЧЕСКИХ ЕДИНИЦ ВОЕННОЙ ТЕМАТИКИ С КИТАЙСКОГО НА РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК (НА МАТЕРИАЛЕ КИТАЙСКИХ ПЕРИОДИЧЕСКИХ ВОЕННО-ПОЛИТИЧЕСКИХ ИЗДАНИЙ)

The article is devoted to the analysis of ways of translation of military phraseological units (further referred to as MPU) from Chinese into Russian. Chinese military-political periodicals are used as the research material. The essence of MPU is revealed, their definition is given and the scope of use is described. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the works of Chinese and domestic linguists, the need to develop a unified approach to translating the MPUs from Chinese into Russian as one of the unresolved issues of translation theory is justified. The analysis of the most complete classifications of translational transformations carried out by reputable foreign and domestic linguists and various types of translation, selected depending on the combination of objective and subjective factors, are carried out. The ways of translating Chinese phraseological units into Russian, which were proposed by V.F. Shchichko, where, above all, the type of the phraseological unit itself are taken into account: chengyuy, yanyuy, gunyunyuy, sekhoyuyuy, jingyuyu. Translation of the MPUs Chinese military-political periodicals, which not only describe the armed forces (military discourse), but also the political, social, and economic aspects, is analyzed. On the basis of the works of Chinese and Russian linguistic sinologists, the ways of translating the MPUs from Chinese into Russian at the lexical and phraseological level are identified.
