An terminal apparatus and a settop box for transmitting a multimedia data during mirroring, a method therefor

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting multimedia data in a mirroring process, a terminal device, and a set-top box are provided to prevent quality degradation and to reduce a load according to a performance of a mirroring function of the terminal device by transmitting to a display device according to a data transmission method by a file streaming. CONSTITUTION: A terminal device for transmitting multimedia data in a mirroring process comprises a memory (100), a play command recognition part (110), a terminal controller (120), and a terminal interface part (130). The memory stores a mirroring program for a mirroring operation. The play command recognition part recognizes a play command of the multimedia data in an execution of the mirroring program. The terminal controller controls a driving of the mirroring program. The terminal controller controls the multimedia data to stream a file according to the play command recognized in the play command recognition part. The terminal interface part transmits at least one between the multimedia data by a file streaming and mirroring data by a mirroring according to a control of the terminal controller.
