A STUDY ON THE CORROSIVENESS OF SEABOTTOM SEDIMENTS IN EASTERN ZHUJIANG RIVER ESTUARY, SOUTH CHINA SEA

The results of investigations that were over a large area totalling l7environmntal fastors of seabottom sedimend and seawater in the oil developmnt zoneof Nanhai East Oil Corporation and adacent sea areas condutod in l994 by theauthors were summerized. This paper explores and raises a set of methods which aresuitable for the evaluation of corrosiveness in seabottom sediments in tropical sea areasof South China Sea, and determines cormsiveness degree of seabottottom sediments ateach station in the sea area according to investigation and evaluation results.
