PROPELLANT AGING STUDY BASED ON EXPERIMENT DESIGN METHODOLOGY

A propellant aging study metho d based on experiment design methodology is presented, and the method can be used to analyze the effects of multi -factors on propellant aging. A HTPB propellant accelerating aging scheme was designed to study the effects of storage temperature, humidity, o xygen level and aging time on the mechanical property of propellant. Some quadratic polynomial fits for the mechanical property are derived from the experiment data, and the confidences of these fit equation s are higher than 90%.
