Basic verification of the brain areas related with the time measurement to use BCI

Recently, the BCI has been expected as a support tool for general paralysis patients, and research on the BCI has been actively conducting. For the future development of the BCI, it is possible to expand the function by using a system combining multiple areas and a new brain region. We considered that time measurement could be used as a new factor. The cerebral activation area for time is the basal ganglia, the cerebellum and right inferior parietal lobule, whereas there is no fixed opinion shown. Therefore, in this paper, we investigate brain function of time measurement using fMRI and consider whether it can be used for the BCI.
