Clinical significance of ANA and ENA Profile in Diagnosis of Graves Disease
2012
Objective To explore the clinical significance of ANA and ENA profile in diagnosis of Graves disease. Methods ANA was measured by indirect immunofluorescence,ENA profile was measured by Euronline immunoblot assay. Results In the 140 samples, positives detection rate of ANA and ENA profile were 27.87% and 26.43%,respectively,which were higher than those of the controls(1.4%,0,P0.01).ANA patterns were mainly of spot type and homogeneous-nucleolar in patients with Graves disease.ENA profile results indicated that the antinuclear antibodies were mainly anti-nRNP/Sm,anti-SSA,and anti-SSB.Conclusion Combined determination of ANA and ENA profile could confirm the types of auto antibodies in the serum of patients with Graves disease, which could provide reference for diagnosis and treatment of Graves disease.
