Fluorine-containing diphenyldiacetylene nematic negative liquid crystal, synthesis method and application

2014
The invention relates to fluorine-containing diacetylene negative liquid crystal, a synthesis method and application. A structural formula of the negative liquid crystal is as shown in specification, wherein R represents C1-C8 n-alkyl. The negative liquid crystal containing 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro phenyl is formed by introducing a 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro phenylene group to negative liquid crystal modules and connecting by taking a triple bond as a bridged bond. By introducing non-polar tetrafluoro phenylene and diacetylene, the negative liquid crystal disclosed by the invention is high in response speed, resistivity, chemical stability and refractivity. The series of liquid crystal, as monotropic nematic liquid crystal, is free from a smectic phase. The negative liquid crystal can be used for preparing a negative liquid crystal compound material high in refractivity and low in viscosity.
