This is the testimony of attorney for the takeover and subsequent demarcation of the Taha de Marchena and localities dated September 8, 1494, by Mosen Fernando Cardenas and Lope de Araoz on behalf of Don Gutierrez de Cardenas, commander greater Leon. The documentary of the same tenor provides information about the organization of some of the noble Moorish communities of the Alpujarras of Almeria in the years immediately following the Spanish conquest of Granada.
