Carbon Dioxide/Epoxide Reactions Catalyzed by Bimetallic Salalen Aluminum Complexes.

The salen complex catalyst (SAA) in combination with Bu4NBr as co-catalyst shows high catalytic activity in reactions of epoxides (I) and (IV) with carbon dioxide to give the corresponding carbonates.
