The present invention relates to a traction control device and traction power supply system. Wherein the traction power supply system comprises a traction control device, a plurality of DC rectifier unit and a plurality of knife switch, each rectifier unit under the control of traction power supply control device, the AC input voltage into a specified DC voltage outputs; a plurality of direct current switching blade provided at a plurality of output terminals of the rectifier unit, for opening and closing the power supply under the control of the traction control apparatus, the output end of the rectifier unit of the plurality of combinations of series and parallel to achieve various forms, thereby enabling the entire power supply system to output a different DC voltage levels supplied to the electrical loads. Unlike the prior art that the traction power supply system of the present invention, all of the rectifier unit can simultaneously participate in power, the output DC voltage, high system efficiency, and a wider range of output DC voltage, in particular, to meet a variety of domestic and foreign voltages the demand for electricity in the DC locomotives.
