Geological section modeling system based on borehole data

Based on the geological characteristics of columnar boreholes and multi-hole sections,a basic data structure with geometrical and topological vector properties was developed.The knowledge inference was then introduced into the algorithms for geological section modeling so as to realize the users' intelligent decision-making both in the algorithms and the sectional images.The method improved the accuracy and practicality of the traditional geological section modeling systems,which made it possible for them to incorporate expert knowledge and experience for decision-making.Finally,an engineering case for the system realization and the calculation of layered earthwork was given.
