A comunicação, a educação no processo de trabalho e o cuidado na rede pública de saúde do Rio Grande do Sul: cenários e desafios

2015
The National Policy on Permanent Education in Health (PNEPS) prioritizes spaces for learning at work, from the problems and needs encountered in this context, encouraging autonomy and resoluteness in coping with those problems. However, some health workers are not familiar with those spaces in order to reflect about their actions. The Social Communication professional, in the field of health, helps to socialize movements and changes. This qualitative study aimed to investigate whether health workers relate to Continuing Health Education (EPS) with activities in their work context and the contribution of communication in this process with activities in their work context and the contribution of communication in this process in health. A questioner was delivered to 300 employees of 13 cities of the Rio Grande do Sul state, whose answers were submitted to descriptive analysis. Workers list actions, EPS elements, in their practices without relating them with the EPS and the communication in the health areas was shown to be weak, as to the purposes of PNEPS.
