Clinical analysis of bedside hemoperfusion in 50 cases with acute severe organophosphorus pesticide poisoning
2006
Objective: To study the clinical effects of bedside hemoperfusion therapy in acute severe organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(AOPP).Methods:104 patients with severe AOPP were divided randomly into the treatment group(50 cases) and the control group(54 cases). The patients in both of the groups were given conventional treatment including gastrolavage, purgation, fluid infusion, atropine and pralidoxime chloride. The patients in the treatment group were given additional hemoperfusion therapy. Results: There were significant differences in the cure rate, incidence of intermediate syndrome, coma duration, serum cholinesterase recovery time and atropine dosage between two groups(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion: Hemoperfusion can clear organophosphorus pesticide rapidly, shorten duration of illness, reduce complication and improve therapeutic effect of severe AOPP.
