Research progress of lung cancer complicated by pulmonary fibrosis

It is reported that the incidence of lung cancer in patients with pulmonary fibrosis is higher than that in general population.In the patients with pulmonary fibrosis,not only the high expression of cancer markers,but also the abnormal expression of oncogenes can be detected,which fully demonstrates that pulmonary fibrosis is closely related with lung cancer.Some cytokines play an extensive role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer,and have an inter-enhancement role in the development of pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer.
