Method for locating false base station

The invention presents a method for locating a false base station. The method comprises the steps as follows: obtaining resident cell information which is updated frequently in cell location in mass location updating signals, and finding a signal with location update rejection in a location updating process via screening and analyzing the signals; and determining that a false base station exists in the area of the cell when the location update rejection singals appears at the same terminal in the same cell in the same time period for many times; and locating the false base station by combining a testing position and the signal strength received by a testing terminal. The method for locating the false base-station provided by the invention is based on an actual location updating type and a switching measurement of the cell, performs mass data selection and analysis, and finally locates the cell which is influenced by the false base station, and the positions that the false base station may exist or appear are also located.
