Find a target in a multispectral image

2011
A target search in a multispectral image is made more efficient and more comfortable by combining a contrast optimization that is performed locally with a detection image presentation that covers a field of observation (10). The contrast is optimized within a window (2) which is reduced with respect to an image matrix (1) corresponding to the entire field of view. This window can be moved in association with a direction of observation (D), or selected at will in the image matrix. The detection image may be renewed for each window used, or common to several windows.
