Congenital partial absence of the pericardium

Abstract A typical case of congenital partial absence of the pericardium is described, and the methods whereby this diagnosis is established are illustrated. The pericardial defect was closed by pleural flaps from the adjacent mediastinum, and a good result was achieved.
