On the detection of load active currents for active filter control

The control of current source converters used as active filters can be based on either the current active components detection or the instantaneous imaginary power detection from which all or only a part can be used. The authors study the conditions in which this second method is equivalent to the first one and propose an improvement for the cases when it is not so.
