45.2: DisplayPort™: The Emerging Converged Digital Display Interface Technology and Implementation in Mobile Computing Platforms

We present an overview of DisplayPort, the emerging digital display interface technology, compare it with the existing display interfaces, and describe its hardware and software implementation in the next-generation Intel® integrated graphics chipsets for PC platforms, especially focusing on the Notebook panel application.
