NEGATIVE PION--PROTON ELASTIC SCATTERING AT 1.7 GeV/C.

Abstract The differential elastic scattering cross section for 1.7 GeV/ c π − on protons is evaluated by analysis of Brookhaven 20″ bubble chamber film. Primary and secondary diffraction peaks are evident. These are discussed in terms of optical model parameters.
