The image moment method for the limited range CT image reconstruction and pattern recognition

Abstract Moment properties of the Radon transform have been discussed. A new concept of the image moment in the Radon transform has been introduced and described. A new approach to reconstruct the image from the projections within a limited range, called the image moment method , has been proposed. The new method has been validated through computer simulations.
