LA ESTACIÓN RUPESTRE DE LOS SALTOS (LA RESTINGA, EL HIERRO)

espanolSe aborda el estudio de la estacion rupestre a partir del analisis de la informacion que contiene, tanto desde un punto de vista morfotecnico como de su contexto mediombiental y arqueologico. Se plantea una clasificacion de los grabados en 4 categorias, y se senala como se asocian entre si y que tipo de recurrencias se observan. Por ultimo se describe la relacion que existe entre Los Saltos y otras estaciones de El Hierro, asi como con otras del Archipielago Canario y Africa English«The Rock- Art Sation of Los Saltos (La Restinga, El Hierro)». The cave station study is dealt with starting from the analysis of the information it contains, both from the morphotechnical point of view and the environmental and archaeological context. A clasification in four categories is proposed, and the association between one another is highlighted togheter with the type of recurrences observed. Finally the relationship between Los Saltos and other stations in El Hierro is described as well as others in the Canarian Archipelago and Africa
