Factores que inciden en el abandono familiar del adulto mayor en el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. Una propuesta audiovisual

This investigation main objective is to demonstrate and create awareness about the abandoned elderly family members, exposing the main factor that create the separation of the family, simultaneously allowing the viewer differentiate the different dynamics that occur inside the elderly caring centers, a subject that is hardly study. In this documentary .we have provided interviews and images of the people involved in this matter. During this Investigation there are three fundamental moment that support the following proposal; The first stage of this investigation is about the current state of the issue on an international level, South-American and in Ecuador; The process that it took to create this documentary; the introspection and the analysis of the results of the process as part of the conclusion of this subject. The first case show us the necessity and the relevance of the subject, as well as the methodological design to improve the documentary as the rhetorical investigation; The second case we encounter difficulties and challenges with the development of the documentary in its different phases production and post-production; Finally, with the results found during the creation of this documentary, we can point to repeating patterns on the abandonment of the elderly, raising awareness to the current generation of a growing problem in our society. In conclusion, we are expecting that this investigation, Explain in this document and in the documentary ABANDONO: Una reflexion familiar with a duration time of 20 minutes, will help to spread the current subject.
