Effects of hypertonic sodium chloride hydroxyethyl strach 40 injection on the permeability of blood brain barrier in the whole-body hyperthermic rat's model

2009
Objective To investigate the effects of hypertonic sodium chloride hydroxyethyl straeh 40 injection(HSH)on the permeability of blood brain barrier(BBB)in the whole-body hyperthermic(WBH)nat's model, and to explore the mecha-nism.Methods 60 adult male Sprauge-Dawley rats(220-250)g were randomized into 5 groups.Twelve rats were housed at a room with 25℃-26℃ temperature for 4h as control(C group).Other rats were exposed to WBH(36℃)to increase the rectal temperature to 41℃-42℃for 3h,thereafter were moved out of the heating container to let the temperature recover down for 1h.At WBH besinning, nothing(HT group),Ringer's solution(RL group),Haes+Ringer's solution(HRL group),or HSH (HSH group)was administered intravenously within 30 min(n=12).In the end of experiment,BBB permeability and brain wa-ter content were measured. Results After 3 h WBH,BBB and water content in WBH groups were signitlcandy higher than those in group C(P<0.01),with the lowest increasing extent in group HSH among test mts.MAP,blood pH,PaO2,PaCO2、and Hct significantiy changed in test groups(P
