Design of Single-span & Double-line Concentrated Load Reciprocating Cargo Ropeway

The author points out that under the conditions of small transportation volume, limited operation time and suitable topography, a simple reciprocating ropeway with single-span and double-line concentrated load can be adopted due to its advantages of less investment, short construction period and easy in management and operation. The paper also introduces other relevant conditions about the ropeway by illustrating with some practical examples, which offers a reference for similar project.
