Abstract The 169 Tm “enhanced NMR” in TmBa 2 Cu 3 O 8 is observed at liquid helium temperatures. The crystal electric field at Tm 3+ sites in this compound is shown to be similar with that in TmBa 2 Cu 3 O 6.5 (OrthoII phase).
