The invention relates to a safety control device of a brake of a continuous casting withdrawing and straightening unit, belonging to the technical field of control of steel manufacturing machines. The safety control device comprises a controller circuit, a motor speed-regulating control circuit and an electric control circuit, wherein the control output end of the controller circuit is respectively connected with a control coil of a first relay contact and a control coil of an auxiliary relay contact and used for controlling the control coil of the first relay to be electrified when judging that fault information does not exceed the preset threshold and controlling the first relay contact and the auxiliary relay contact are switched off when judging that the fault information exceeds the preset threshold; and the control output end of the motor speed-regulating control circuit is connected with the control coil of a second relay contact and used for controlling the control coil of a second relay to be electrified under the normal state. The invention realizes reasonable control on the brake of the continuous casting withdrawing and straightening unit, thereby achieving the purposeof ensuring the safety production and solving the production problem caused by the prior art properly.
