Fingertip Blood Glucose Levels after Three Different Disinfection Methods Compared with Their Venous Blood Glucose Levels

2011
Objective Fingertip blood glucose levels after three different disinfectants of alcohol,Anatole iodine and Runxing disinfectant compared with venous blood glucose levels. Methods 150 cases of diabetes self-control over the same period, randomly divided into three groups. When measured fasting blood glucose in the second day morning, they were used alcohol,Anatole iodides and Runxing disinfectant, and compared their fingertip blood glucose levels and venous blood glucose levels. Results Data analysis with SPSS15.0,using crossover design analysis of variance reached P 0.01.Average of the three groups fingertips blood glucose were 7.66,7.98,8.45,the average intravenous blood glucose were 7.87,8.03,8.53.Fingertip blood glucose levels of three groups were significantly different with venous blood glucose levels. Conclusion Fingertip blood glucose levels using alcohol,Anatole iodine and Runxing disinfection were significantly different with venous blood glucose levels.
