A method for managing one or more notifications and an electronic device therefor

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for displaying information by an electronic device includes: a step of displaying a first information display area on a touch screen in response to a first user input received through a first part among partial areas of the touch screen including the first part and a second part which is in contact with or is adjacent to the first part; a step of displaying a second information display area on the touch screen in response to a second user input received through the second part; and a step of displaying information received from the outside by the electronic device, with regard to first contact information, on the first information display area, by the electronic device and displaying information received from the outside by the electronic device, with regard to second contact information, on the second information display area. Also, the other embodiments are possible. Therefore, the present invention is capable of providing at least one notification, classified by registered targets in a contact list, to a user.
