Velocity filter SHELS: Performance and experimental results

Abstract Using the GABRIELA (Gamma Alpha Beta Recoil Invetsigations with the ELectromagnetic Analyser) set-up [1] and SHELS recoil separator [2] the experiments aimed to the gamma and electron spectroscopy of the Fm –Db isotopes, formed at the complete fusion reactions 48 Ca + 207 , 208 Pb → 255 , 256 No * , 48 Ca + 209 Bi → 257 Lr * , 50 Ti + 206 , 208 Pb → 256 , 258 Rf * , 50 Ti + 209 Bi → 259 Db * , 22 Ne + 238 U → 260 No * were performed in the last decade.
