SUMMARY Objective: To inform a case of pseudoxantoma elasticum associated to chronic angle closure glaucoma. Methods: Report of a case and review of literature. Results: A wide range of affections are described that can cause the alteration in elastic fibers in the patient with pseudoxantoma elasticum, and their impact in the quality and life expectancy. Conclusion: Information does not exist that allows to establish a causal relation between pseudoxantoma elasticum with chronic angle closure glaucoma, reason why most document other cases for consider the existence of this association. It is important to know the wide range alterations that cause this alteration, to obtain an integral boarding.
