A Scientific and Research Review of the Principles of Imām Abu Hanifa and Imām Al-Bukhārī in Receiving and Accepting Hadith

Beside the four famous Aima there were other scholars with worthwhile contribution and influence in their contemporary periods but their works seem to have sidelined in the brilliance of the four prominent Aima e Kiram. Some of them have been great mujtahideens of their times with sizable number of followers. However, despite this, they have lost eminence today. Imam Abu Hanifa is regarded as the authority on matters of Hadith. This article aims to review the reception of Hadith by Imam Abu Hanifa(r.a) and Imam al-Bukhari(r.a) to dispel many misconceptions regarding these two great imams and their scrutiny of Hadith.
