An ultra-wide stopband self-packaged quasi-lumped-element low pass filter based on substrate integrated suspended line technology

This paper presents an ultra-wide stopband self-packaged quasi-lumped-element low pass filter (LPF) based on substrate integrated suspended line (SISL) technology. Interdigital capacitor and spiral inductor are utilized in the 1GHz quasi-lumped-element LPF. The measured results show that the proposed LPF can achieve a wide stopband from 1.36yc to 8fc with 20dB stopband rejection. And the filter has advantages of self-packaging, low loss, compact size, and low cost by using SISL technology.
