Visualization Research of the Digital Rock Based on Real-time Volume Rendering Methods

To visualize the internal information of Digital Rock and overcome the problem of the absence of interface for the subsequent development, this paper proposes a solution to the development of visible Digital Rock platform. Firstly, the voxelization of the data sets is conducted. Then based on the object spatial projection theory, the three dimensional data is sampled spatially before renderring. Afterwards, employing the prospective transformation theory, the corresponding real-time observation engine is established. Finally, the operating results of the entire three-dimensional visible platform is illustrated and laterally compared with the traditional visible Digital Rock model in the aspects of information amount, data size and operation flexibility.
