DESIGN AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT: COORDINATION ON A PLATFORM OF INTEROPERABLE TOOLS

2006
Abstract This article is within the framework of methodologies for System Design, and aims at coupling two processes: Product Design and Project management. The goal is to identify the shared useful information between both processes, in order to bring them closer and to formalize the procedure to go from the field of functional design towards the project organization and scheduling. On the basis of this formalization, we propose tools which allow partitioning of the functional models into components and tasks, leading to the organization of these tasks in multiple scenarios and to the selection of the most interesting scenarios.
