학교 정규체육수업에 대한 청소년기 여학생들의 인식조사

2015
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether reasons of preference, reasons of nonpreference and participation motivating scale could be used equally depending on type of schools and to explore empirical differences among each factor through latent mean analysis. 5,409 female students from 122 schools were selected as a sample group. Data was analyzed through frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, multi-group confirmatory factor analysis and latent mean analysis using PASW 18.0, Mplus 5 and AMOS 20.0. The results were as follows. Firstly, two-factor model was the most appropriate scale for reasons of preference. Female students of elementary school and coeducational school recognized ‘sports facility and program’ and ‘cognition of positive effect’ more significantly than the others. Secondly, 3-factor model for reasons of nonpreference scale was chosen. Female students of middle school, high school and coeducational school recognized ‘sports facility and implements’ as a significant factor and the others perceived ‘class style and program’ as an important factor. Lastly, two-factor model fitted participation motivating scale and the results confirmed that female students of middle school, high school and general girl’s school comprehended ‘physical education and subsidiary facilities’ as more critical factors. Meanwhile, the others perceived ‘class program and instructor’ factor as a more important factor. In conclusions, it is assumed that if educational institutions and schools are able to be well aware of female students" cognition toward physical education class and apply results of this study, it would be helpful to derive more positive changes in female students" behaviors.
